Wouter Vanhoutte has been active in Business Intelligence, Performance Management & Data Warehousing since 2008. Wouter graduated as a Commercial Engineer in Business Economics & Strategy at the KU Leuven, complemented with a specialization in accountancy & auditing.
Wouter started his career as a SAP consultant in 2007 engaging in financial and custom-built SAP deployments before he moved to the area of SAP Business Warehousing in 2008, where he worked for consultancy firms Eozen and Accenture.
Wouter started working in technical roles and gained deep knowledge in the areas of query building, ETL development, extractor enhancement and evolved into roles which required functional analysis of reporting and KPI requirements and design of SAP BW datamodel, ETL and SAP Bex reports. He was also involved in the implementation of SAP BPC on top of SAP BW, where he mainly focused on the integration SAP CO-BW-BPC and has had early exposure to SAP Business Objects.
During his career, Wouter became knowledgeable in different SAP functional areas like Finance, Controlling, Material Management, Sales & Distribution and Customer Relationship Management. Most of the knowledge is centered around the Controlling side, while he was also engaged in building custom-built controlling solutions in SAP BW. Since 2013, Wouter has focused on SAP BPC implementations, both with SAP Netweaver & BW integration and SAP BPC Microsoft.
In his free time, Wouter enjoys jogging & soccer.
