Analytics Architect
David graduated with a Master in Business Economics (Magna Cum Laude), specialization in Financial Markets and Services in August 2021 from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
During his studies, David discovered a passion for Analytics and econometrics, which led him to specialize in Data Science and Business Intelligence -in parallel with his studies- with a Python Data Scientist certification from Datacamp.
This passion also resulted in a master thesis, comparing several Machine Learning algorithms as well as Frequentist and Bayesian models, applied to the prediction of Airbnb prices. David’s rigor and passion in his work have been noticed by his supervisor who offered him to work as a research assistant on a national research project. Thanks to this experience, David developed his hard skills with real data.
He also performed an exchange with HEC Montréal, allowing him to widen his set of tools but also to deepen his knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server. He had the chance to develop his soft skills and applied his passion for teaching, as a teaching assistant in the “Introduction to Programming”-course.
David’s economic and management background allow him to have a good sense of the business requirements of a company but also to have good problem-solving skills.
David joined element61 in September 2021.
