Philippe Purnelle

Philippe has been working in Business Intelligence & Performance Management ever since 1999.

Philippe started his career as an Analyst-Programmer at SESA Benelux before joining BULL as an Oracle Consultant, where he worked on his first data warehousing assignments. Between, 2001 and 2010, Philippe worked at iPerform, part of the Cronos group. In his years in Business Analytics, he has been actively involved in providing end-to-end BI and CPM solutions to customers, including Project and Team Management, BI roadmap definition, user requirements analysis, dimensional modeling, data quality, ETL development, database design, Business Intelligence front-end suites, planning, and budgeting.

Philippe masters Informatica PowerCenter, IBM Datastage, and IBM Cognos & SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence and has mainly worked in the public, insurance, and pharmaceutical sectors. Based on his work in the public sector, Philippe is also familiar with GIS applications. He holds certifications in Oracle, Cognos Enterprise Planning, Prince II, and Data Management.

Philippe holds a Master's Degree in Computer & Human Sciences from the Brussels Free University (« Licence en Informatique et Sciences Humaines » de Université Libre de Bruxelles). 

In his spare time, he’s brewing his own beers and enjoys walking, reading, theatre, opera, gardening, and wood turning.
