Tim Hermie

Tim is an expert in Data Security. His primary focus has been on demonstrating the value that the Microsoft Purview stack brings to customers in the areas of risk, compliance, and privacy. Over the past years, Tim has developed strong skills in Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, and Defender for Cloud Apps. He is also skilled in leveraging technology to make organizations AI Enterprise-Ready, including solutions such as Copilot for M365, Copilot for Security, and Data Security Posture Management.

With over a decade of experience in identity, security, and endpoint management, Tim is well-positioned to provide a comprehensive overview of the Microsoft ecosystem, both from a configuration and end-user perspective. In addition to his technical capabilities, Tim is a passionate Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 2019 and has been recognized as a Microsoft MVP in the Enterprise Mobility category and as a Windows Insider MVP. He has demonstrated his commitment to community through leadership roles, notably as a Founding Board Member of the Microsoft Cloud and Client Management Community in Belgium, and has been recognized by Microsoft as a Community Hero, Mentor, and Most Valuable Mentor.

Beyond his professional achievements, Tim is enthusiastic about connecting with people and building community. He is approachable and happy to answer any questions you may have. In his spare time, Tim enjoys producing and writing music, is working toward an audio engineer degree, loves traveling, and has a fascination with volcanoes.
