Nic is a multi-skilled IT leader with over 15 years of experience driving digital transformation and operational excellence in fast-growing organisations. Known for his analytical mindset, hands-on approach, and people-focused leadership, Nic has successfully managed and optimised IT operations across diverse sectors, including healthcare, retail, industry, and services.
Nic holds a degree in Electronics with a specialisation in ICT from KAHO Sint-Lieven, complemented by advanced training in IT management (Vlerick Business School) and multiple certifications in Google Cloud Platform and machine learning.
Before his current role, Nic held senior IT management positions at Vaillant Group Belgium, AZ Jan Palfijn Gent, Santens Groep, Carrefour Belgium, SUEZ (Sita Remediation), and Inex. He has a proven track record in project management, IT service management (ITIL), cloud and infrastructure operations, and digital transformation.
Nic’s leadership style is characterised by clear communication, critical thinking, and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.
Outside of work, Nic is an active football instructor and enjoys swimming, kitesurfing, snowboarding, and keeping up with the latest in IT and music.
