The ZAS (Ziekenhuis aan de stroom) project is a collaborative effort to improve medical communication by translating Dutch medical letters into patient-friendly formats in French and English. Using AI, the team generates both line-by-line and summary translations, enriched with medication lists and glossaries to enhance clarity. A key goal is to simplify language to B1 level, making it more accessible to patients. Layout and formatting are being refined.
