Joris has been active in Performance Management -and more specifically SAP BPC- since 2004.

After his studies Accountancy – IT, Joris decided to follow his passion for port operations and started his career at the logistics provider KatoenNatie in the port of Antwerp. The first years, he performed both operational and administrative functions within different sectors such as petrochemicals, automotive, consumer goods and port operations.

Thanks to the international growth of the group Katoen Natie, he was able to gain experience during some assignments abroad. As business support manager, he was responsible for the analysis, testing and implementation of the ERP system, developed on the Microsoft Navision platform.

Due to the continued growth, Katoen Natie decided in 2004 to implement the CPM solution SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation - formerly known as OutlookSoft). As project leader, Joris was responsible for the implementation within the various business units. SAP BPC was also used to monitor all operational productivities and KPI’s.

In 2012, Joris decided to make a career switch to the hospitality sector and started as SAP BPC manager at the headquarters of The Rezidor Hotel Group. Within Rezidor, he was responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the entire SAP BPC environment, including the day-to-day support of +650 users worldwide. One of major projects was the migration from SAP BPC version 7.5 to the latest version 10. Additionally, he was closely involved in the development of a new forecast and payroll module which improved the quality of the rolling forecast.

Mid 2016, Joris decided to join element61. His years of experience from customer side, allow Joris now as consultant, to even better understand and assist customers during their SAP BPC implementation process.

In his spare time, Joris enjoys traveling, gardening and a good motorcycle ride.
