Senior Analytics Architect
Petya Atanasova has been working in Business Intelligence since early 2018.
She was initially introduced to BI during her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Informatics, Communications, and Econometrics at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
For her thesis, Petya created a QlikView-based Sales Dashboard. During her studies, in 2016, she took part in a summer internship program at the oldest publishing company in the United States, based in Nashville Tennessee - Southwestern Advantage. She spent the summer taking various business, communications, leadership, and sales training. During this time, she was introduced to understanding people’s needs, and successfully communicating and consulting clients.
She started her career as a Qlik Developer and consultant in 2018, as part of the Qlik team of a Bulgaria-based Analytics consulting company, working with clients from the US, Australia, Europe, and Asia. In a little over two years, she was certified as Qlik Sense Data Architect and independently worked on and owned various Qlik Sense, QlikView, and NPrinting projects. In pursuing personal and career development, she later added to her portfolio of skills other Business Intelligence Solutions such as Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
In early 2022, she started working at EPAM Systems as a Senior Data Analyst, and in May of 2022, joined the Qlik Analytics team of element61 as an Analytics Architect.
Since then most of Petya’s assignments have been focused on helping clients migrate their Qlik environments from QlikView to Qlik Sense and Qlik Sense SaaS, while also working towards optimizing and improving their processes and reporting solutions.
In early 2023 Petya was promoted to Senior Analytics Analytics architect and has consistently proven her attention to detail, business acumen, client-oriented approach and strive for excellence in her daily work.
In addition to that, in late 2023 she embarked on the Microsoft journey, acquiring a Power BI Data Analyst certificate, and is driven towards expanding her expertise in more BI areas.
