Justine Hanssens

Justine Hanssens graduated with a Master of Science in Business Engineering, option Data Analytics from Ghent University in June 2021. During her Master's, Justine gained profound insights and skills in Data Science & Engineering topics such as predictive analytics in Python & R and Big Data analysis in PySpark. Furthermore, she fulfilled internships at ArcelorMittal and Möbius Business Redesign and went on an exchange program for half a year to the Zhejiang University (ZJU) in China.

Justine started working at element61 in August 2021 as an Analytics consultant in the Microsoft BI Competence Center. Ever since, she worked on a variety of data analysis projects with many customers across different industries (mechanical and electrical engineering,  shipping, commerce, entertainment & media, agriculture and food production, etc.). She’s a certified technical expert in Power BI, Fabric, and Databricks.

In 2023, Justine joined the Data Science & Analysis team of element61. Since then, she has focused even more on data analysis, machine learning, and AI, while maintaining a strong emphasis on business understanding. Justine is an accomplished data translator helping customers create analytics and translating & visualizing these analytics into valuable business insights.

In addition, Justine is co-leading the Fabric knowledge area where she guides our team & clients toward Fabric excellence and governance best practices.
