Customer Experience Manager
Elke has 26 years of experience in Marketing, most of the time in an ICT setting. The last 5 years before joining element61, Elke worked at SAS Institute, a leading Analytics software vendor.
Elke started her career in 1996 as Marcom Manager at Azlan - Tech Data (our still current Microsoft and IBM Cognos software distributor), where she was responsible for internal and external communication, coordinating and executing joint marketing actions with partners like Cisco, Nortel, and Citrix.
Mid 2006, Elke joined Telenet as B2B Marketing Coordinator Mobile. She developed marketing activities to support the evolution of Telenet from a fixed to mobile Telco player via wireless networking: Hotspot, Homespot and Wi-Free.
After 7 years, Elke moved to the B2C department at Telenet, where she supported above and below the line marketing campaigns and managed projects like “Work in the Park” in collaboration with Microsoft.
In 2016, Elke joined SAS Institute as Marketing Specialist. In this role she was responsible for developing and implementing the manufacturing, retail, and customer intelligence marketing program for the Benelux. Main messages promoted were “Using Data and Analytics to create better understanding and deeper insights into audiences” resulting in accelerated growth, awareness, and brand consistency.
Elke graduated as Industrial Engineer Electronics option automation (Katholieke Industriële Hogeschool Antwerp, now Karel de Grote-Hogeschool). She also graduated as Postgraduate, Business Economics (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven).
In January 2022, Elke became Marketing Manager at element61. She combines her technical background with her large experience in marketing communication and strong project-management-skills.
