Thibault Verduyn

Thibault Verduyn graduated with a Master of Science in Business Engineering, option Data Analytics from Ghent University in June 2020.

During his studies, he developed a strong interest in Data Analytics, Data Visualization and Business Intelligence and how to convert data into strategic added value.

In addition to this, Thibault likes to hone his skills through MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) in this domain.

The subject of his master's thesis was in the field of "Tennis Analytics". This way, he could combine his background in Data Analytics with his predilection for the game of tennis.

Thibault joined element61 in September 2020 as Analytics Architect within the Qlik Competence Center.

After some months of combined studying and building up more hands-on experience on projects, Thibault was able to certify as Qlik Sense Business Analyst in Q2 2021 and as Qlik Sense Data Architect in Q4 2021.

On top of Qlik Sense, Thibault also gained experience with QlikView & Qlik NPrinting, covering all of Qlik’s Product Offering within the Analytics domain.

In 2022, Thibault published his first insight, 5 Things You Didn’t Know About Qlik Sense (yet) on the element61 website. Next to deep diving within the Qlik product stack, Thibault broadened his skill set towards Microsoft by certifying in Azure Fundamentals in 2021 and Azure Data Fundamentals in 2022.

When Thibault is not working with Qlik, you might find him sharing (and talking about) craft beers with his friends. He even already made several attempts to brew his own beer!
