Analytics Architect
Valentin is graduating from Ghent University with a Master of Science in Business Engineering with a specialisation in Data Analytics.
He is deeply motivated by the potential of data to optimise and strengthen business operations, using insights to solve complex problems and drive strategic decisions. Throughout his studies, Valentin has built a strong technical foundation in data analysis, programming, and machine/deep learning, working extensively with tools such as Python, PySpark, R and SQL.
His interest in the practical application of data analytics grew further during a student consultancy experience with Everest Analytics, where he collaborated with element61. As a team leader, Valentin gained hands-on experience in guiding a team, managing client relationships, and translating complex data into actionable business recommendations. This sparked a strong interest in data consultancy and solidified his motivation to make a real impact through analytics.
Outside of academics, Valentin is an active sports enthusiast. Whether it’s running, football, or any other form of physical activity, he thrives on the discipline and team spirit that sports demand.
Valentin is excited to join element61, where he looks forward to applying his technical and interpersonal skills in a dynamic environment, while continuing to grow and contribute to data-driven solutions for clients.
Valentin will join element61 in September 2025.
