Partner Data Science & Analysis

Peter graduated as a Master in Business Engineering from Ghent University with a specialization in Finance (2013).

He started his career at Delaware Consulting as part of the SAP FICO team, where he gained experience implementing and rolling out an SAP financial ERP system globally. Working closely with the customer’s finance department, he helped design structures and reports for financial consolidation, legal, and management reporting.

In 2015, Peter moved to Cisco as a Partner Account Manager, responsible for a portfolio of partners. There, he learned the importance of using data to make informed decisions. He also began experimenting with Power BI to create dashboards that tracked partner performance and success metrics, sparking his interest in data analytics.

In 2018, Peter joined element61 as a Data Strategist, helping organizations use data to meet business objectives. Over time, he grew into a leadership role and now leads the Data Science & Analysis team, overseeing 20 consultants and inspiring and guiding organizations on their data and AI journeys.

Peter has extensive hands-on experience with generative AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and Azure OpenAI. He inspires on practical applications like creating conversational AI tools, improving productivity with AI-powered assistants, and integrating GenAI capabilities into existing workflows. He’s passionate about showing how these tools can simplify everyday work, inspire creativity, and make data more accessible for decision-making. He also enjoys helping people understand the broader impact of AI in their lives, from transforming industries to reshaping how we work and collaborate.

Beyond leading his team, he focuses on exploring how organizations can use AI to solve problems and drive innovation. He is an enthusiastic public speaker, delivering keynotes and executive workshops on AI’s transformative potential. Whether addressing business leaders, or technical audiences, he shares actionable insights and concrete examples of how AI and GenAI can drive organizational success, inspiring teams to seize emerging opportunities.
