Partner - Customer Relations & Business Development

Steven started his career in the ICT and consulting sector in 1997. He was first introduced to Business Intelligence and Performance Management in 1999 when he joined Cognos (currently IBM) Belux at a time when it was just a handful of people. In his role as Account Manager, he helped grow the Cognos Belux business. Several of his customers developed into Global Accounts for which he coordinated the international business and relations with key decision makers.

After a two-year side-step at Oracle - where he was Global Account Manager for DHL, selling e-Business applications to DHL senior management - he re-joined Cognos Belux early 2003 to become Sales Manager. Cognos Belux in those days achieved major double-digit revenue growth year over year, while the team grew to about 40 people and € 16 million in revenue. In anticipation of Cognos being taken over by IBM, Steven decided to start his own business in e-commerce in 2006. He founded Mount Oberon, one of Belgium's leading omni-channel fashion retail concepts and Belgium’s second Most Export Oriented Webshop (BeCommerce, 2014).

Late 2016 however, he returned to the ICT and consulting sector at IQVIA, a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and consulting services in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. Initially as Director for Forcea, a 30 people strong Business Intelligence company that was recently acquired. One year later as Sales Director of IQVIA, heading a commercial team of approx. 35 people, selling the offerings of a 500 people strong BeLux organisation.

Steven combines a long-term experience in Business Analytics with a solid understanding of selling business outcomes. Over the past 20 years in sales and management, he grew into an all-round manager, helping his customers to perform better based on Data & Analytics.
