Analytics Analyst
Pieter graduated in 2019 as a Master of Business Engineering at the University of Antwerp. He spent 6 months at Queen’s University (Canada) as part of an international exchange program and acquired hands-on project management experience during a summer school exchange to Goa (India).
In 2020, Pieter obtained a Master in Artificial Intelligence with great distinction at KU Leuven. As part of his thesis, he worked for 4 months as a Data Science & Strategy intern at element61, exploring the world of data with a focus on Machine Learning (ML) pipelines.
Pieter started his professional career at a global Technology consulting firm as a data analyst in the fields of finance and manufacturing. The job mostly consisted of analyzing and visualizing data to bring value for strategic and operational purposes.
Throughout his academic and professional career, Pieter gained profound knowledge of (I) various Data Science topics, (II) the usage of programming languages like SQL and Python, and (III) industry-standard software like MS Power BI and Azure Databricks.
Pieter started working at element61 in September 2022.
