This Planning & Budgeting project was built using IBM Cognos TM1 and SQL Server Integration Services. The high level goal of the project was to extract the existing planning data, being captured from the users through IBM Cognos TM1, to a data warehouse ready for Business Intelligence reporting.
An SQL Server Integration-project, build using element61’s SSIS framework and best practices, included a full extraction of the current TM1 model.
A tabular model was created together with Power BI dashboards. This hughly improved the reporting capabilities & functionality, providing a report environment that is user-friendly and self-service.
