For the Hydrorio segment, PIDPA wanted to transform its current budgeting process which was done in excel templates into a streamlined budgeting application on SAP BPC. This would allow more standardisation and a more efficient use of the budget process by the different users. Preceding to the start of this project, a feasibility study was performed to examine if SAP BPC would indeed be suitable to be used as a budgeting tool for PIDPA.
The deliverables of this project on SAP BPC for the NetWeaver version (7.5)
were:
- Streamlined input process of the Pidpa (Hydrorio) budget process
- Income statement reporting (standard and alternative approach)
- Budget simulation and versioning
- Integration with actual data coming from SAP ERP and SAP BW
- End-user training
