The HR department of Umicore wanted a story-approached dashboard which shows various benchmarks against strategic goals (e.g. diversity within the manager pool) and also contains historical progress and with a deep-dive into regional benchmarks. The dashboard is accessible to a wide-range of internal employees which can only see relevant data based on their role/region/... The dashboard needed to be highly secured using Row-level-security, seen the confidentiality of the data. Data was extracted from SAP BW4HANA & other internal sources. element61 proposed the data architecture and tooling, being Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL data warehouse, TimeXtender, API’s and front-end reporting in MS Power BI.
