As ABX LOGISTICS continued to grow further independent from its mother company NMBS/SNCB (ABX LOGISTICS was acquired by 3i in August 2006), the new stakeholders issued their reporting guidelines to the management of the ABX Group. This resulted in an update of the existing OutlookSoft system, which was developed earlier in 2003 (consolidation) and 2004 (management reporting). The scope of the New Reporting project was to install a new Executive Committee and Board of Directors reporting, implement a new bank statement reporting application, develop a region and product reporting, create an integration between Management accounts and Consolidated accounts allowing a smooth reconciliation between both and make sure that the historical data is correctly migrated.
