This project enabled WDP to have full control over its financial consolidated data and to have its consolidation process managed in house. This process was done externally until this project started. The project scope was to build an IFRS compliant application in SAP BPC (Microsoft) according to the needs of the real estate sector. The data is loaded from the local affiliates of the WDP Group and IFRS adjustments are maintained centrally in Sap BPC. This allows having a full audit trial on the consolidated data in SAP BPC, including the required footnotes for the real estate sector. The analytical dimension that contains the information by real estate was also added to the consolidation application, allowing a full consolidated contribution by real estate. In a second phase, the SAP BPC application was extended to perform budgeting and forecasting.
