With this project, Connect Group wanted to migrate their on-premises Data Warehouse on SQL Server to a Modern Data Platform in the cloud and to Power BI to improve their BI and analytics capabilities. The platform on Azure included services like a data lake, SQL Database, ADF – to rebuild the ETL with the element61 Acceleration Kit, and Power BI implemented on top. The data platform enabled finance, sales, production, procurement & stock reporting on top of SAP ECC. The project delivered a scalable and flexible data platform that supported Connect Group's current and future analytics needs, as well as providing insights into their financial and operational performance.
