Building a Trusted Research Environment (TRE)

As part of the European SPECTRE-HD initiative, element61 supported UZ Brussel in the design and implementation of a Trusted Research Environment (TRE) to enable secure and privacy-compliant reuse of health data. The project aimed to align with the upcoming European Health Data Space (EHDS) regulation and was executed in collaboration with other Belgian university hospitals (UZA, ZOL, Saint Luc). The TRE platform was delivered as a secure, metadata-driven environment supporting both primary and secondary use of health data.

TimeXtender migration path

With TimeXtender announcing the end-of-life for version 20 (v20 and older), organisations must now decide between two future-ready paths: TimeXtender Classic (v25) or the cloud-focused TimeXtender Data Integration (TDI).
