With the global roll out of SAP ECC on HANA throughout the company to support the financial and operational processes, Matexi needed a reporting solution.
Reporting was achieved using a mix of Analysis for Office reports & SAP BusinessObjects WebI reports - all with BW on HANA underneath - linked to ECC on HANA.
Reports take data out of SAP FI,CO,RE,PS and HR. The BO launchpad is used as a point of entry to both AO & webi reports. The BW architecture put in place is a mix of standard BW extractors and getting data directly out of the tables in HANA using SDA, thus combining best of both worlds to have the optimal reporting platform.
