This range is one of the EVDRE ranges. The range makes it possible to override the current view, or part of it, for any cell in the data range.

The current view represents the dimensions that are included in the application and also the members used in the current display of a live report. In V10 we refer to Context.

A custom menu is a portal-like page that summarizes a business process and links to important information used in that process. A custom menu facilitates the use of the planning/consolidation tool by providing links to input schedules, packages and reports

The download function allows you to move files from the Data Files folder on the server to your local hard drive

Data Manager is a Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) module that helps you move data in to BPC, as well as copy or move data within and across applications. In addition to allowing you to move and copy data, Data Manager supports mapping and complex transformations of data.

Whenever you send data or launch a package, the default formulas will run as well. It is important to not put too many in default, otherwise the system will become slower.

A dimension consists of members. If the members of a dimension are arranged in a hierarchical order, the relationship between members is described with terms such as Parent, Child, and Sibling.Dimensions are the building blocks or your application or model and consists out of dimension members. Some are mandatory such as category, entity, time, account. This also depends the application type.
