The internal patient transport (IPT) in a hospital is highly driven by the demand from the various hospital departments which in its turn is driven by weather, inflow, lenght of stay, type of patients and others. In order to plan ressources more effectively and efficiently, AZ Alma wanted to look in Machine Learning to predict and estimate the demand for IPT.
