Management Reporting for Elderly Care and Service Flats Centre
Vulpia had its own manual/excel based reporting solution. In order to have an automated consolidated reporting environment, Vulpia decided to start a BI project with element61.
The idea was to have an automated extraction from multiple sources (GerAcc, Ortec, eBlox, NetSuite, KBC and Bing) which were consolidated into a data warehouse. The reporting tool to be used is Microsoft Power BI.
Since Vulpia does not have its own IT infrastructure, an Azure cloud solution was preferred.
The scope of this project was not to build the reports and dashboard, but to prepare all required data in a data warehouse so Vulpia can create and manage the reporting themselves.
The technology/tools for this project are:
- SQL Server Management Studio
- Visual Studio
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Blob Storage
- Azure Virtual Machine
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Analysis Services (Tabular)
- Azure Data Factory
- Microsoft Integration Services (automated ETL development via Biml)
- Power BI
