Sven Pauwels

At Vives Kortrijk, Sven successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Informatics. Sven is specialized in Business & IT. During his studies he encountered Business Analytics for the first time. This triggered his interest and upon finishing his education he started to work as a BI Consultant.

His career started in September 2017. From 2017 to 2019 Sven worked at Pure Solutions and ESC BVBA. At Pure Solutions, Sven took his first steps in consultancy. He gained more in-depth knowledge of the Qlik tools, namely Qlikview and Qlik Sense.

With the move to ESC BVBA in 2018, he changed his focus from Qlik to Microsoft. During his time at ESC BVBA he worked with various Microsoft solutions as a source for his reports. Sven focused on creating reports on Navision/Business Central/Dynamics 365 CE in Power BI and in SSIS/SSAS. Besides Power BI, he was also responsible for the implementation of Microsoft Power Automate (also called Microsoft Flow) and Microsoft PowerApps.

At element61, Sven further expanded his skill set in different domains. He refreshed his knowledge in Power BI by incorporating the latest trends and renewing his certifications. In addition, Azure was also included in Sven's trajectory, which resulted in him obtaining the Azure Data Engineer Associate certificate.

Sven already has several projects behind him (migrations from Qlik to Power BI, NAV BI/Business Central Out of the Box implementations, migrations from on-premise environments to a cloud architecture,...). He is also an active member of the team responsible for further developing Out of the Box solutions.
