Manuchar wanted to optimise their reporting process. As there is no central/common ERP, a well designed architecture needed to be put in place in which the various (global) affiliates could submit their data to the corporate reporting. The quality of the affiliate data must be checked automatically using technical and business validation rules. The data (account, customer, ...) must be mapped to master data to guarantee data quality.
Next to the technical setup of the data warehouse, file management, Master Data Services (MDS), a complete governance model was put in place.
Setup roles and responsibilities (IT, Business, data providers, consumers, etc.) and assist in workshops/trainings for each role. Support Manuchar team in requirements management and documenting the existing reports. Define data model and guide Manuchar to create data model, SSIS package (ETL) to load the data in the data warehouse and optimise/shorten the reporting process/cycle. Create the reports in Power BI Report Server (based on data in data warehouse).
As a first functional domain Account Receivables, based on distribution and trading data, was identified and delivered to business stakeholders.
