Senior Consultant – Consolidation, Reporting and Group Accounting

element61 is looking for a Senior Consultant for the Corporate Performance Management team.

Your Role

As a senior consultant you will contribute to our consolidation, reporting and group accounting activities and be involved in:

  • Playing a principle role in the consolidation, reporting and group accounting systems client projects
  • Deliver Enterprise Performance Management software solutions implementations, executing projects, leading and actively participating in the full range of implementation tasks, (supported by existing element61 consultants with technical software implementation skills)
  • Interact with clients aiming to improve and accelerate their financial reporting environment, gathering client-specific requirements and designing the best fit solution to regain control over the financial impact of their business processes
  • Contribute to our ‘elementary’ methodology for EPM solutions
  • Provide regular input in the business development of our services, deliver input to client proposals and demonstrations,
  • Host client trainings in the domain of EPM solutions

Your profile

The successful candidate will have confirmed experience in this field of consolidation and/or management reporting through prior experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, in a service / consulting firm, preferably a top large audit & consulting firm or a top large consultant and systems integrator
  • Or alternatively be a qualified controller with a minimum of 5 years of experience in group accounting, consolidation and financial reporting within multinational corporations, either as a member of the CFO’s team or as an external consultant with a track record of several successful projects
  • The successful candidate should have the following skills, experiences and qualifications :
    • Strong track record in group accounting and a thorough reporting background is a must (group consolidation, corporate controlling)
    • Proven experience in consolidation and/or management reporting in an international context
    • Good knowledge and experience within International Financial Reporting Standards or any other relevant international accounting standard, business combinations, cash flows, industry-specific group reporting needs, fast close…
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the consolidation concepts and core financial techniques and group reporting processes
  • University Degree
  • You are a hands-on person, result-oriented and quality-driven with outstanding analytical skills
  • Proactive, innovative, ambitious, accountable and energetic
  • Very good leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work independently, with a flexible and open personality
