New TimeXtender Release embraces Microsoft Fabric for Seamless Data Integration

At element61 we are early adopters of Lakehouse technology using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.  We’ve also been partners of TimeXtender since 2012.

That’s why we’re thrilled about the latest release of TimeXtender, now integrating with Microsoft Fabric for seamless Lakehouse implementations!  This marks the first version of TimeXtender to support end-to-end Lakehouse Architecture, providing a unified environment that bridges the best of both data lakes and data warehouses.

TimeXtender (TDI v. 6814.1) marks a significant leap forward with the addition of support for Microsoft Fabric. This update aligns with TimeXtender’s commitment to provide a flexible, technology-agnostic approach to data integration and management, empowering organizations to leverage a broad range of data technologies without the limitations of vendor lock-in. By integrating with Microsoft Fabric, TimeXtender expands its capabilities to support a unified analytics platform that simplifies data workflows and accelerates the development of business-ready data solutions.

In this release, the Microsoft Fabric integration is in ‘public preview’, where only ‘Simple Mode’ is supported. We still think it’s a great step forward for TimeXtender, and can’t wait to see the other TimeXtender features being implemented for Microsoft Fabric in future releases.

Enhanced Integration Capabilities with Microsoft Fabric

Microsoft Fabric offers a comprehensive, cloud-native analytics platform that unifies data storage, processing, and analytics. TimeXtender’s integration with Microsoft Fabric will enhance its ability to manage complex data environments by automating data workflows across the platform’s diverse services. This release leverages TimeXtender's metadata-driven approach and AI-powered automation to streamline the entire process of data ingestion, transformation, and delivery within Microsoft Fabric.
