The 5-Year planning project at Mensura is an extension on the already existing budget and forecast application in TM1. The objective of this 5-year plan project is to facilitate and simplify the work of the planners when making the 5-year plan. The base input for the 5-year plan is the final budget. For every budget line a projection plan is established. A projection plan can be very global and applicable for multiple budget lines or very detailled and specific for one or a few budget lines. This way the planner can globally plan 80% of the 5-year plan with global high-level projection plans and make it specific in these case where there is more need for detail and specification.
