Analytics Architect
Maurits Geeroms graduated as a Master of Science in Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology, major Computer Vision from the University of Ghent in September 2018. He gained some experience as an application engineer and worked on several projects.
After two years he took a year off to study and was granted a degree Master of Data Science for Business at the University of Ghent. He joined thereafter a start-up where he designed and developed an NLP application.
Maurits joined element61 in January 2023 as an Analytics Architect. Meanwhile Maurits has been involved and taken responsibilities in various Data Engineering (Azure/Databricks) and MS Power BI assignments. His knowledge was also recognised by Microsoft and Databricks as Maurits certified as Azure Data Engineer in both technologies.
