Algemene Borgstellingen is a cooperative company with limited liability. In accordance with the articles of association and the relevant legal provisions, only partners can benefit from their services.
Their main activity is to guarantee the proper execution of the works as a contractor to its clients. General Guarantees operates according to the mechanism of joint guarantees. This means that the partners only have to deposit a percentage of the requested guarantees as cover. The company has grown out of road construction to now covers all possible contracting and related activities of the construction sector.
Algemene Borgstellingen was founded in 1921. They currently have 500 partners, with 20.000 outstanding guarantees for an outstanding amount of 580 million €.
