Years of investment in ERP and CRM systems generate large amounts of data, but all too often this data is not easily accessible or utilized in a smart way. Having access to reliable information and real time insights allows management to make the right decisions. We made an important strategic choice in strengthening our organization with the most experienced Business Analytics consulting group on the Belgian market, allowing us to serve our clients both better and in a more comprehensive way”, according to Frederik Berckmoes-Joos, Chief Strategy Officer at Moore Stephens Belgium.

As part of Moore Stephens Belgium, element61 will be able to grow faster and broaden its service offering.

Stijn Vermeulen, Managing Director at element61: "We’ve grown at a pace of 25% year over year since our inception in 2007. Today we are known for experience, expertise, innovation and quality. Every year, we invest 15% of our revenue in R&D and further development and training of our consultants. Thanks to expertise and pragmatism, we are fortunate to serve Belgium’s premier organizations. At Moore Stephens, we find a culture that embraces and fosters entrepreneurship, allowing us to accelerate our growth and ensure future success.

Moore Stephens has a proven track record of making the right innovative strategic choices. We also feel very encouraged about our consultants becoming part of an organization that offers further development and growth opportunities to its people. Furthermore, we have a shared vision for the future of the finance department, and the organization as a whole, in which we continuously improve the reporting, forecasting, planning, analyses, budgeting and consolidation processes. Having access to the functional knowledge of the accountants and consultants at Moore Stephens will allow us to help clients in end-to-end solutions.”

All element61 partners are joining the partnership at Moore Stephens Belgium. Together, the new group entails 380 staff and 30 partners, and generates a joint revenue of € 45 million per year. Stijn Vermeulen will continue to lead the Business Analytics business, and will add operational and strategic leadership to the firm. Toon Puissant, Frank Lehouck, Bjorn Van Damme and Frederic de Schutter all become partner at Moore Stephens Belgium.

Peter Verschelden, CEO at Moore Stephens Belgium: "We are building the firm of the future, allowing us to service clients today and tomorrow in the best possible way. Hans Cools joining the firm as co-CEO this year has been critical in successfully facilitating that transformation. We anticipate 2016 and the years beyond to bring even more exciting transformation to our firm. Our two firms joining forces is a critical first step in becoming dominant in the growing Business Analytics market.”
