Gregory has been active in the world of Business Intelligence since the beginning of this millennium and has more than 23 years of experience in business analytics.
Before 2000, he worked at Wolters Kluwer as a junior software engineer, developing accountancy software.
In 2000 he started at Agfa Healthcare, developing, implementing, and training Cognos Impromptu for customers worldwide.
Between leaving Agfa and taking up the role of BI pre-sales solution specialist at IBM Cognos in 2009, he worked for 1 year at Business & Decision as a Cognos consultant. Johnson &Johnson in Beerse and Moët Hennessy Information Services in Epernay (France) were amongst the customers he worked for.
At IBM Cognos, he made the switch from consultant at a partner, to working for a software vendor, as a Pre-Sales Solution Specialist. In that role, he did a lot of commercial presentations, demos, proof of concepts, answering RFPs, partner training, and acquired other interesting knowledge related to Cognos and Business Analytics.
In 2014 he decided to do the switch to Qlik and started as a Qlik Sense solution architect. Just in time to be a privileged witness of the lounge of Qlik Sense.
At Qlik his role was to convince partners, customers, and prospects of the power of Qlik Sense and all its capabilities.
As a result of a reorganization, he left the Qlik company in 2018 and started as a Qlik consultant/evangelist at Keyrus working for customers like Telenet and Besix.
At Besix, which was one of the first European Qlik cloud customers, he became a Qlik Cloud specialist covering areas like Analytic services, Automation, Data Integration, and User management.
Gregory joined element61 in September 2023.
