Data Governance Architect since February 2025
Graduated in 2024 - Master of Applied Informatics in Big Data Technology - VUB
After graduating from VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) with a degree in Big Data Technology, I was eager to take on real-world project challenges and that's exactly when I found element61. I started at element61 as a Data Governance Architect.
After the onboarding weeks, I was immediately involved in real projects and no endless training sessions. I was learning by doing from the very initial stage, which I believe really accelerated my growth. I had the opportunity to work on challenging assignments that pushed me to develop both technically and professionally. Every project taught me something new, and I always had supportive colleagues to turn to whenever I needed guidance.
What I like most in my job is the balance. The projects are genuinely challenging and help you grow, but element61 also respects your personal time. I appreciate the flexibility to work both on-site and from home, and the culture here is genuinely collaborative, people actually want to help each other.
