Analytics Architect
Joachim completed his Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering at Ghent University in 2026, where he specialized in Artificial Intelligence and complemented his studies with several courses in Data Engineering.
Alongside his strong interest in data and AI, Joachim is also fascinated by finance, accounting, and economics, which led him to explore these domains further during his studies.
For his master’s thesis, he worked with high-dimensional molecular dynamics data to identify meaningful features and patterns that could be used in machine learning models to predict nanobody thermostability, a great example of his analytical curiosity and ability to work on complex data challenges.
Outside of work and technology, Joachim enjoys staying active through running, fitness, and bouldering
Joachim will join element61 in September 2026.
