Business Analytics Strategy

The Corporate USG People Data Warehouse is based on multitude data sources (back- and front-office). The decision support system is used by virtually all management levels in the organization in order to get a complementary overview of the performance of the USG Group. USG country management can retrieve financial and operational details on their country performance.

Echo relied on element61 for their Performance Management strategy. element61defined a roadmap that formed the basis for the implementation of a BI and a CPM solution. This project, executed in close collaboration with the Echo team, won the BI Vision Award and the Best Finance Team Award.

Jetair has been building a large data warehouse containing all their operational data to focus on their operational performance. The next step was integrating all the financial data and building a companywide Planning solution to come to a complete closed-loop Performance Management environment.

Over recent years, De Lijn has deployed a large scaled data warehouse environment, currently serving over 300 users. The Business Intelligence environment on top of the data warehouse is used for reporting & analysis on subject areas like personnel behavior (driver productivity, employee sickness behavior, overtime worked, employee scheduling), ticketing information (both for operational and marketing purposes), vehicle operations (GPS data, driven kilometers, maintenance, fuel consumption, vehicle cost per vehicle age), financial data (budgets versus actual, subsidies from the government, money going to subcontracting…) and vehicle road accidents.

As their business expands and grows, Veiling Haspengouw requirements for reliable and timely management information also grew. They quickly discovered that their existing reporting solutions had significant shortcomings. They decided to look for a more stable and automated solution.

The VMM wanted to provide information to internal users in order to compile their yearly reporting, follow up their measurement networks, control companies dumping dirty water, check water quality. For all of the complex design & implementation work of their Data Warehouse architecture, the VMM relies heavily on element61 data modeling expertise and technical skills.

The Port of Antwerp relied on element61 as its partner for improving and standardizing the BI architecture and software landscape.

The ICT department at HighCo Data asked element61 to assist in the definition and design of their new BI landscape, including software selection and recommendations. element61 delivered these expected results in a Business Analytics Roadmap project.

Renson selected element61 as their preferred partner for helping them shape the future of the Business Intelligence and Performance Management solutions.

element61 provided some senior BI resources to assist the Telenet BICC (BI Competence Center) in their activities. The role(s) of element61 consisted in Business Analysis and BI project & team management.
