5 years experience - Juan holds a Master in Statistics and Data Science from KU Leuven, focusing on Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning. Before coming to Belgium, he worked as a data engineer for a startup, developing skills in data integration, software development, and cloud computing. During his earlier career, Juan was able to highly improve his coding skills, learn how to use cloud computing services, and work in a diverse team of talented people. By combining data science with data engineering, he has the goal of building end-to-end data projects that can have an important impact.

3 years experience - Laurence obtained her bachelor's degree in HR for Business from Karel de Grote University in Antwerp in June 2023. During her studies, she gained insights into various areas such as the onboarding and offboarding process, employee wellbeing, and strategic HR policy. She also had the opportunity to work hands-on with the topic of feedback culture. She interned at two companies where she learned the intricacies of headhunting and all aspects of soft/generalist HR.

He wrote his thesis about learning action sequences in table football using deep reinforcement learning. During his Bachelor of Civil Engineering with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Electrical Engineering, he learned how to program in languages such as Python, C/C++/C#, and SQL while further developing his passion for data.
