element61 was tasked to analyse the current MS SQL Server environment and create a long term Extraction, Transformation & Loading roadmap. The project consisted in analysing the current environment and helping the department F&B in deciding the best long-term solution for covering their growing ETL requirements and to give detailed recommendations regarding ETL best practices, given the multitude, the sensitivity and the heterogeneity of the sources, often from former nationally organised government services.
