Your role
To further expand our team, element61 is looking for a (Junior) Financial Performance Management Consultant with a focus on financial reporting, consolidation and planning.
Our PM (Performance Management) Competence Center is well known in the Belgian market and highly respected for its in-depth knowledge of financial consolidation, management reporting, budgeting, planning and forecasting. element61 is a market leader in helping customers to implement and run their financial reporting processes more efficiently using leading software solutions such as CCH Tagetik, SAP (EPM), Vena Solutions, Prophix and Anaplan.
This role offers you the opportunity to develop and expand your knowledge while collaborating with and learning from experienced colleagues. You will work across a variety of exciting customer environments and get acquainted with various businesses and industries.
You will receive adequate training where you will have the opportunity to learn to work with leading technologies from our portfolio of performance management solutions.
Working closely with our clients, you will guide them through the entire implementation process — from facilitating requirements analysis, design, and build phases to go-live and beyond — including defining future enhancements and delivering user training.
Your responsibilities
You will be surrounded by the most experienced CPM colleagues that will guide and support you to work on financial reporting projects at the customers’ premises or at our offices.
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Participating in requirements gathering workshops
- Developing the functional and technical design, as such meeting the specific customer context and requirements
- Implement performance management solutions together with a team of skilled peers and with the customer
- Engage with the customer to organize and participate in knowledge transfer and training of end-users
- Guide and coach customers throughout the implementation process up to the acceptance and go-live
- Participate in knowledge sharing and development, creation and exchange of best practices
Your profile
Successful candidates show a great interest in management reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and planning as well as an eagerness to implement software solutions supporting the office of the CFO.
- You recently graduated and hold a university degree in business engineering with a specialisation in Finance and/or Accounting, or you have between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience in a financial reporting role.
- You embrace the intersection of finance and data, where your technical and analytical skills can translate client requirements in a financial reporting model
- You are interested in the domain of financial reporting, planning and analysis.
- You are eager to learn how to implement a leading financial planning tool.
- You have good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- You combine excellent communication and listening skills and demonstrate leadership capability within a business context.
- You are a problem-solver and can easily adapt to a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Fluency in English and French or Dutch as your native language is favourable.
