After a technical intake, we took ownership (and are providing Service Desk services) of the IBM Cognos environment. As the existing environment was running towards depreciation, we build-up a completely new IBM Cognos Controller (including Financial Analytical Publisher towards IBM Planning Analytics). We were responsible for the installation and configuration of the new environment. The new environment consisted of a 3-tier and multi-server segregated environment being Test, UAT and Production instances. During a parallel-run period, we supported the functional testing and validation. A smooth cut-over and go-live allowed the old environment and servers to be decommisioned and the new ones the become the consolidation and reporting solution at Materialise.
