Data Agent for Conversational Analytics

During your internship, you’ll collaborate with experienced consultants, contribute to real-life projects, and learn how modern data solutions are designed, built, and delivered. You’ll have the space to learn, experiment, and grow, while making a meaningful contribution to our client projects and internal initiatives.

In this internship project, you will help design and build our own in-house data agent that enables conversational access to data and company knowledge. The goal is to create an intelligent agent that can understand natural language questions from different entry points (e.g., UI, Power BI, Teams, local or remote agents), enrich them with internal business context and knowledge, and translate them into actions or queries on our data platform. The agent will then use a large language model to reason over the request and return meaningful, context-aware answers.

You will work on the full architecture of the data agent, including the Agent API, the agent orchestration layer, and integrations with internal knowledge bases, company context sources (such as documentation and collaboration tools), and data platforms (e.g., data warehouse, Spark jobs, Airflow, metadata services). 
A key part of this project is that we are not adopting an off-the-shelf agent platform, you will help us build our own agent framework from the ground up. You will study existing approaches and reference architectures for data agents and LLM-based systems, design a solution that fits specific industries and client environments. The outcome will be a working proof of concept of a production-style data agent architecture, along with a clear technical blueprint that we can evolve into a reusable internal product for conversational analytics and AI-driven data access.
