With over 20 years of international experience, Yves is a seasoned programme and project manager who bridges business and IT. He has led complex transformation initiatives across banking, payments, compliance, and digital modernisation for organisations such as Rabobank International, Argenta, Belfius, Diebold Nixdorf, Euroclear Sweden, NRB (now KEYES), Bank Degroof Petercam, itsme, and Nasdaq. He has a solid track record of delivering large-scale programmes on time and within budget – from target operating model design and roll-out to systems transformation, regulatory compliance, and change management.
Yves holds a Master of Science in Commercial Engineering and Management Information Systems from the University of Antwerp (UFSIA, 2002).
Yves started his career at Accenture before briefly returning to academia, where he led a Microsoft-sponsored research project on IT Governance at the University of Antwerp Management School. He then deepened his experience in financial services consulting and large-scale transformation programmes at Capco (now FIS) and as an early member of Projective Group during its formative years. At Vanbreda International (now Cigna Global) he focused on operational improvement and process optimisation – and it was there that he first crossed paths with element61, in the context of a CRM initiative.
Yves is a people-first leader who challenges the status quo, fosters a strong learning culture within his teams, and acts as a trusted connector between C-level stakeholders and technical teams, with a strong focus on pragmatic governance, structured problem-solving, and analytical clarity.
In his personal life, Yves is an avid triathlete and passionate traveller, always eager to discover new cultures and cuisines.
Yves joined element61 in July 2026.
