Vena Winter Webinar Series January Edition

Webinar

Vena Winter Webinars

Let us introduce you to a Planning & Reporting solution that leverages the native Microsoft Excel interface. Powered by the most famous and widely used spreadsheet tool, Vena deploys a cloud-based Planning & Budgeting platform for the business user where Excel functionality gets blended with collaborative capabilities in a secured and structured environment.

The Vena platform also perfectly complements your Microsoft Analytics architecture, integrating plan data with your Power BI dashboards as well as using your Microsoft data warehouse as a source for actual data used in your planning cycle.

Discover the ease-of-use of Vena in one (or all) of the 3 webinars spread over 3 weeks organised in December and repeated in January in case you couldn't join the December wave.

Each webinar will consist out of an introductory part on Vena and a deep dive session. These deep dive sessions will demonstrate how Vena addresses the three types of planning (and reporting) with an in-depth demo:

  • Webinar on 19 January - Finance-owned planning. Excel is the most commonly used finance and operations planning system in the world for a reason. It’s flexible, universal, and easy to use, but it isn’t built for growth. During this deep dive session, you will see how Vena uses Excel as its accelerator, while providing workflow, audit-trail, security, modelling and integration capabilities.

  • Webinar on 25 January - Extended planning. This session is about the next phase in planning, extending it with more detailed models. A workforce model could give more explanations on how the salary expenses are built-up, while a Capex model can shed a light on the company projects resulting in depreciation costs and operating expenses. We will discuss these use cases in detail.

  • Webinar on 31 January- Beyond planning. In the last webinar we will demonstrate how Vena supports your Financial Close with the pre-packaged solution for Account Reconciliation. We will also show what Vena can mean beyond planning, concluding that any reporting process created in Excel, can be accelerated with Vena.
