BI - Business Intelligence

As Resilux, this project was about implementing the Business Central / Navision BI “Out of the Box” solution to accelerate Resilux’s transition to a modern, cloud-based analytics environment. The project combined a pre-packaged data model, ETL processes, and a scalable data warehouse with Microsoft Power BI for visualization, enabling real-time insights across finance, sales, purchasing, and inventory. Beyond technical deployment, we provided coaching and co-development to empower Resilux’s team for self-service reporting, ensuring governance and scalability.

element61 supported Leroy & Partners in modernizing their analytics and reporting landscape. With over 130 employees and 350,000 dossiers processed annually, the organization faced challenges in scaling its SQL Server and SSIS-based BI environment. Following a 2-day technical audit, element61 assessed the performance, architecture, and governance of both SSIS and Power BI implementations.

In this project, we migrated personalized customer dashboards of the Van Hoecke webshop from a Qlik Analytics Platform, which is an infrastructure-heavy solution, to a Qlik Cloud capacity-based license. The dashboards provide customers withs near real-time information and a user-friendly experience. element61 provided the technical expertise for the authentication and embedding part. After a successful Proof of Concept, element61 provided the necessary building blocks for go-live to Van Hoecke’s Webshop implementation partner.

This project involved migrating the existing 200+ Qlik Sense applications to Qlik Cloud. element61 participated in the migration project in a coaching & co-development way. As a result, Van Hoecke is now able to leverage the added value of Qlik Sense SaaS, was able to save infrastructure costs and phase out their NPrinting server.

After the migration, additional reports were delivered to provide insights into the number of containers moved per day and their locations. Linked to the costs and margins of machines and workers to optimize the entire process. Additionally, an app to monitor fleet, including traveled kilometers, cost comparison between gasoline and electricity, and maintenance monitoring was created sourced from Fleet pass data. 

Migration of Qlikview to Qlik Sense, including validation, testing ,go-live, support of various business domains, such purchasing, sales, financial reporting, HR, transport, product pricing, and production.  While migrating also changes in the business due to acquisitions, changes in the ERP's, ... were well managed and integrated.

Renson has experienced significant growth in recent years. This growth also creates challenges in terms of developing and maintaining a centralized ERP system, to be able to report company-wide and harmonized. To meet this need, it was decided to roll out SAP S/4HANA ERP in phases across all divisions. 

Collaborating with our team, Fepco introduced a tailored Power BI "Out-of-the-Box" solution, designed to provide comprehensive insights into their business domains, including finance, sales, inventory, and purchase.  To further empower Fepco's decision-making capabilities, the standard "Out-of-the-Box" domains were augmented with advanced reporting features to calculate and maximize margins, a critical aspect of the wood trading business.
