This project at Katoen Natie consisted of upgrading & renovating the Modern Data Platform on Azure to best-practice in 2024.

The project at Medi-Market was to lead & do the migration of the data warehouse from Qlik to an Azure Modern Data Platform + Power BI. This migration was end-to-end and includes rebuilding all data ingestions best-practice, optimizing the data model to best—practice 2024 & building all the Power BI reports for smooth & top-notch self-service use.

The project aimed to migrate the SAP BW4HANA data warehouse to Azure Modern Data Platform, a cloud-based set-up that provides more flexibility, scalability, and performance for data analytics. The project involved assessing the current use, optimizing the data model for flexible use, planning the migration strategy and executing it step-by-step domain by domain.

At Agristo, element61 built a modern data platform for OT & Machine Learning development; mainly focused on industry 4.0 and their production and manufacturing processes & data. The platform was built using Azure cloud services & Databricks.

The aim of this project was to design and implement a modern data platform for Etex, a global building materials company. The platform consists of three main components: a data lake, a data warehouse layer, and the enablement towards self-service with Power BI.

In this project, element61 led the project of migrating Carmeuse from Power BI on-premise to a Power BI Premium in the Cloud set-up.

Since a first roadmap done in 2021, element61 has been working on building a modern data platform in Azure for the University of Luxembourg. The data platform is used for enabling more self-service reporting in Power Bi (combining data from SAP & a lot of other university applications) and includes reporting on finance, housing and students.

The project consisted of building a modern data platform in Azure for ADB Safegate, which enabled them to report on their SAP S/4HANA data and other sources. The data platform was based on best practices and frameworks and leveraged the latest Lakehouse approach.
