Analytics Architect
Julien Braekevelt graduated with a Master of Science in Business Engineering, option Data Analytics from Ghent University in 2021.
During his master, Julien gained Data Science & Engineering skills, including Predictive Analytics in Python & R and Big Data analyses in Spark.
He started his career as Business Consultant at Möbius Business Redesign where he learned to translate data into valuable business insights. He worked on a variety of data projects, in which he gained hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, R, and Python. Next to data visualization, Julien also deepened his skills in constructing ETL pipelines and building optimization models.
Julien is a self-starter with a passion for data who is willing to go the extra mile.
In his free time, Julien is passionate about kitesurfing and running. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and exploring the world.
Julien joined the Microsoft team of element61 as Analytics Architect in April 2023.
