Principal Performance Management Architect

Miriam has an experience of 20 years in financial reporting, consolidation and corporate performance management.

Miriam performed roles across country, region and global consolidation levels with a strong focus on corporate performance management, process improvement, implementation and integration of different reporting tools. She acquired expertise in IFRS consolidated accounts and compliance.

Miriam holds a Master in Business Economics – Accountancy & Tax. She started her career in financial reporting in various international companies where she gained her first expertise in corporate accounting and group reporting. From 2003 till 2008 she worked at Johson Controls, Cabot and Fedex.

In 2008 Miriam joined CG Power Systems (Pauwels Trafo) as Consolidation analyst. One of the major achievements was migrating the Excel-based consolidation and management reporting into SAP BPC.

In 2012 Miriam joined the consolidation team of Sibelco where she held the responsibility to prepare the monthly IFRS consolidated accounts and the annual account. In this role, she acted also as the administrator of the Cognos Controller and gained gradually more knowledge and interest in the technical set-up of Cognos. Beginning of 2016 Sibelco decided to migrate to CCH Tagetik and Miriam took the lead as project manager from design to go live in 2017 of the entire Sibelco group. While further supporting the rollout of Tagetik and introducing Budgeting and forecasting she contributed in the next years to set up corporate performance reporting in Power BI. In this role, she acted as the finance business partner to build with IT based on input from the main stakeholders an extensive set of reports and KPIs in Power BI by integrating consolidated Tagetik data, SAP data and other (non)-financial data (FTE’s, production, sales, capex..)
