The main objective of this project was to help Andre Celis migrate their legacy on-premise data processing system for reporting and other data streams to a modern and scalable cloud-based solution. They also wanted to re-design and optimize their existing reporting according to the latest best practices, and leverage the full potential of Power BI as a self-service and enterprise BI tool.

The HR department of Exmar has a large need for automation of reporting, mainly due to the extensive and frequent reporting obligations. The project aims to automate reporting by centralizing and harmonizing crewing data, which will then be used to generate automated Power BI reports. This initiative is part of Exmar's broader ambition to establish a robust data foundation that can be utilized across various teams and projects.

This project helps Exmar with a wide range of topics and activities related to IoT data. This data is continuously generated by sensors on the ships, and needs to be smoothly transferred to the already set up central Modern Data Platform for storage and further analysis, or pushed to other systems where needed. This data can relate to sensors on machinery, but also to e.g. sailing conditions and geo-location.

In this project, element61 helped Exmar to gain easy insight into the measurement data from the Tango FLNG infrastructure. About 600 measurements are available daily. A solution was built to bring this data together and integrate it, so that it can be reported and analyzed according to best practices. The solution was built on the already established Modern Data Platform, and is a combination of Sharepoint, ADF, Databricks and Power BI.

This project is about helping Exmar to facilitate the data need for Tagetik. Tagetik is a tool that can do consolidation, budgeting and forecasting. element61 follows a Best Practice of using a central and consistent data model for Tagetik. This means that the data from the ERP system has to be prepared and modelled correctly. element61 helps Exmar with this task using TimeXtender, and also makes sure that the data can be used for Power BI.

Decospan wanted to kickstart their first use-case. With a new production line recently build, this project focused on production IoT reporting & enablement where - using OPC UA with MQTT – the machine data was streamed from the shop floor to Azure IoT Hub, and using Databricks and Grafana enabled for analysis & real-time use of the data.

Decospan wanted to improve their BI and analytics capabilities by partnering with element61 to set up a modern data platform in Azure using TimeXtender and Power BI. The data platform enabled finance reporting on top of Dynamics ERP, covering core financial metrics for 17 local entities using AX12 and a variety of ERPs. The project delivered a scalable and flexible data platform that supported Decospan's current and future analytics needs, as well as providing insights into their financial and operational performance.

The Analytics Roadmap project was an initiative to set up the data foundations for Exmar. The project aimed to understand the current state of Analytics & AI at Exmar and define an actionable clear path forward.

As Televic has projects with a long live-time (often decades) it’s key to know which spare parts by which vendors become unavailability in the market. This project of obsolescence tracking was all about automating the continuous validation of spare part availability based on external market data sources & making this visible for product manager at Televic. The end-to-end cockpit & enablement was done via the Azure Modern Data Platform.

In this project we deployed the element61 Out-of-the-Box for Finance, a pre-configured solution based on SAP S/4HANA that enables fast and reliable financial reporting. At Televic, we deployed this solution to help them streamline their finance reporting processes and did this working closely with the Televic internal data team.
